Mercer Baptist Association
Welcome to the Mercer Baptist Association, located in Brooks County, Georgia. We are an association of like-minded Southern Baptist churches that are scattered around various locations within Brooks County with our offices located inside Northside Baptist Church of Quitman. Our office is open on most Mondays, but due to travel schedules and appointments outside the office, please call before you come by. Our director of missions would be happy to speak with you and tell you about our churches. There are sixteen churches in our association, and each one is fully autonomous. We voluntarily cooperate with each other through our association as well as the Georgia and Southern Baptist Conventions. Since our churches are scattered throughout Brooks County, there will be one near where you live. We invite you to visit with us. Our churches meet for worship on Sunday mornings, most Sunday evenings, and on Wednesday evenings. If you are looking for a church home, we hope you will consider one of ours. In addition, if you are confused, searching for God, or maybe just trying to figure out why we're here in this world, we believe that we can help you find the answers to your questions. We're not perfect, but like you, we want to know God. The difference is that, through the person of Jesus of Nazareth, God came looking for us first, and we'd like to introduce you to Him.
